FROM THE DESIGNER

It’s the Holiday Season, one of my favorite times of the year. Reflection, attitude and gifting is on everyone’s mind. My sister Miriam and I are increasingly grateful for the vision that our mother Karin had 21 years ago when she founded Sabika. A vision about bringing beauty and joy to every woman that we touch – from our female artisans in Europe, our Consultants throughout the United States and our friends & family that wear Sabika with pride.

As CEO of Sabika, it is my distinct privilege to carry Sabika into the next 21 years and beyond, honoring the past while meeting the needs of the present and future with responsibility and respect. This year, I revisited our original mission to bring it into the now, thinking of everything we have accomplished together and learned along the way.

I continue to look at Sabika’s mission through the lens of my other role as designer. I aim to create jewelry styles that speak to everyone. There is no one “Sabika type” that I design for. I see style as a way for us all to connect – regardless of our different backgrounds, professions and geographies. Our goal is to ensure our mission reflects this – as this is who we’ve always been at our core and will continue to be.

OUR RENEWED MISSION STATEMENT:

“A company by women for everyone, our jewelry unlocks opportunities, inspires joyful confidence and celebrates the unique beauty in all of us.”

As a women-founded and led company, I am conscious of the fact that we have a uniquely powerful voice and perspective. We have taken our values and created a renewed Sabika Commitment to you, we promise to put CARE, CREATIVITY, and COMMUNITY into everything we do.

Now, as we go into this winter season of giving and sparkle, I encourage you every time someone compliments you on your Sabika that you share with them that Sabika is for everyone.
